Local Operation - No Gateway Required. All Shelly WiFi devices have a built-in web server, providing a host of features that always work, regardless of internet connectivity. The built-in web server means Shelly has built-in memory and will remember sunrise, sunset, schedules, etc., even when the network is down. Relays and dimmers function as standard toggle relays and can be used with your regular switches - even without internet. All inputs and outputs are fully programmable and only require local WiFi to communicate across devices. However, an active internet connection is recommended for access to even more features.
